Our story

From a 16-year-old with a bucket to Muskoka's BBQ crew.

Summer of 2020. Jacob was 16, doing the math on tree-farming wages versus UBC engineering tuition. The numbers didn't work. So he spent his savings on a power washer, a bucket, and started knocking on doors.

Five years later, that one-kid operation is Aspect. We're a team of 25+ university students cleaning grills across Ontario every summer. Every BBQ we clean funds another semester of tuition.

The Muskoka crew lives together on Milford Bay Road in Bracebridge from May through August. We're up here, every day, just like you.

Today we serve hundreds of Muskoka cottage owners and a growing roster of property management companies running rental portfolios across the Big Three lakes and beyond.

Cottage country questions.

How much does it cost?
Cottage country pricing depends on grill size, brand, and how long it's been since the last clean. Fill out the form and we'll send back an exact quote — usually within a few hours. No surprise upcharges when we get there.
Do I have to be at the cottage?
No. As long as we can get to the BBQ, you don't need to be there. A lot of our customers leave us gate codes or dock instructions and we handle it from there. We'll send photos when we're done.
Can you reach a water-access cottage?
Yes. Plenty of our customers are on Joe, Rosseau, or Muskoka with no road access. We'll meet you at the nearest marina. Just mention "water access" in the form and we'll coordinate.
How far ahead should I book before a long weekend?
Two weeks minimum. Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, and Labour Day weeks fill up fastest, so earlier is always safer. Off-peak we can often get to you same-week.
Do you guarantee the work?
Yes. If you're not happy with how the grill looks when we're done, we come back and redo it free. And if we leave a single mess at your cottage, the whole clean is free.
How do I pay?
Card, e-transfer, or cash — your choice. Invoice comes after the work is done, never before.
My cottage is in Parry Sound, Haliburton, or north of Huntsville. Do you go there?
Ask anyway. We cover the cottage country zone but some weeks we go further. Drop us a quote request and we'll let you know.
I manage 5+ rental cottages. Do you have a property manager rate?
Yes. Portfolios of 5+ properties get volume pricing on a single seasonal contract — one invoice, one point of contact, one pre-season route. Email contact@aspectservices.ca with your portfolio size and we'll send pricing.
Can you coordinate a pre-season blitz across all my properties?
That's most of what we do for property managers in May. We map your full portfolio, lock in a window, and run a single route — every grill cleaned and signed off before Victoria Day. You get one schedule confirmation, one final invoice, and after-photos for every property.
My owners want to see proof the work was done. How do you handle that?
Every clean ends with after-photos sent to whoever you specify — you, your owner, or both. Standard for our property manager accounts. Keeps everyone confident and saves you from forwarding emails.
